ADMIRAL

The New Injector™ Admiral is based on the same principal and technology as the Injector™ Kiwi door. Admiral is inspired by the popular Injector™ Monarch pelagic trawl door, but has considerable higher spread force and gives lower water resistance. This design enables us to manufacture far lighter doors, without compromising strength, quality and stability.

MONARCH

The Injector™ Monarch is reported to be the most efficient pelagic door yet; the ultimate door for midwater trawling. This model generates extremely high lift, with a low drag ratio. Combining these factors together with the door’s stability makes the Monarch model ideal for surface fishing and high-speed trawling.

STEALTH XF9

The Injector™ Stealth XF9 is based on the Stealth F9 model. The XF9 is used as a pelagic door with bottom trawls and for semi-pelagic fishing. The XF9 is supplied with a bottom door keel and wear plates mounted on the keel as standard.

KIWI

Injector™ Kiwi is our 2nd generations multifunctional trawl door. Kiwi is based on the same principals as the multifunctional trawldoor Sparrow. By upgrading foils and curves, Injector Kiwi becomes a stronger, more powerful and more efficient multifunctional trawldoor, without compromising strength and quality.

SHARK

The Injector™ Shark model revolutionised the very concept of trawl doors by being the first trawl door to incorporate aeronautic and hydro-dynamic technology into a trawl door design. The Shark model was also the first trawl door introduced to the fishing industry that uses a single towing point system, better known as the “Injector™ back strop rigging setup”, which enables the doors to be more flexible when towing and allows the doors to find their most efficient angle of attack. Today, the Shark model has earned a legendary status as an unbeatable trawl door.

SPARROW

The Injector™ Sparrow model is an extremely powerful and efficient multi-function trawl door that is used on bottom trawls, semi-pelagic and pelagic trawls. The Sparrow has been created by combining the Stealth F15 pelagic door and the Cobra bottom door into one model. By combining these features and principles, the Sparrow model is as powerful and stable as our pelagic doors and as efficient and flexible as our bottom doors. The Sparrow is supplied with a bottom door keel, with bolted shoes and double angled wear plates mounted on the keel as standard.

SHARK '14

Injector™ Shark ’14 is based on the same principals as the legendary Shark model, which was the first trawl door to incorporate aeronautic and hydro-dynamic technology into a trawl door design in 1998. Shark ’14 looks like Shark, but by upgrading and adjust the foils, Shark ’14 has become a more powerful and more efficient trawldoor. It generates the same lift/spreadforce (CL) as Injector™ Cobra, without adding extra foils and weight.

SCORPION

The Injector™ Scorpion model is an updated version of the legendary Injector Shark, making the Scorpion a more powerful trawl door. This enables vessels to reduce the door size and achieve fuel savings. The Scorpion was the first model with the Injector Pinbracket incorporated on the main wire attachment point. This pinbracket makes it possible to adjust the horizontal and vertical settings of the door simultaneously, if required. The Scorpion model uses the same Injector back strop rigging setup as the Injector Shark.

COBRA

The Injector™ Cobra is based on 10 years’ experience in trawl door design for leading fishing companies around the world. The Cobra model is the first 3 foil bottom trawl door introduced to the fishing industry, in which advanced aeronautical design has been applied. The Cobra model uses the Injector™ back strop rigging setup and the Injector™ Pinbracket incorporated on the main wire bracket.

  • The Injector™ Cobra is the 3rd generation buttom trawl door design
  • The Cobra model is the first 3 foil bottom trawl door
  • The Cobra model uses Injector™ back strop rigging setup and Injector™ Pinbracket system

Roller clump

The Injector™ Roller clump is designed somewhat differently than the traditional clumps currently available on the market as it has a curved front at the bottom to give it a negative pressure so that it will always be biased towards the seabed. In addition, the curved plate gives the clump a “cleaner flow” and makes it easier to tow. All weights are located at the front to make it more balanced, which will also impact stability. The weights are divided into two sections which are bolted on. The length is about the same as is used today. However, we believe this clump will be easier to tow and provide better functionality than what is currently available on the market.
